Joint meeting held on foreign workforce recruitment

Ministry of Family and Labour social protection organized a joint meeting with Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Road and Transport Development, Ministry of Construction and Urban development, the General Authority of Foreigners and Immigration, and the General Authority for Border Protection to discuss the recruitment of foreign Labour.

During the meeting, participants exchange views on ensuring effective coordination among government agencies when recruiting foreign workers required for strategically important infrastructure and industrial projects, as well as development projects outlined in intergovernmental agreements.

They emphasized avoiding overlapping efforts, accelerating the digitalization of services, and providing smooth, hassle-free support businesses and organizations involved in employing foreign labour.
