Sharing Experiences on Informal Employment at a Regional Forum

The International Labour Organization (ILO) Asia-Pacific office is organizing a regional forum on sharing knowledge and experiences related to informal economies and informal employment in Bangkok, Thailand, from November 26-28, 2024.

 

The meeting will focus on innovative approaches to transitioning from the informal to the formal economy, as well as best practices for formalization. Representatives from governments, trade unions, and employers from various Asia-Pacific countries will gather to exchange information and experiences.

 

The forum is attended by:

• Sh. Maya, Senior Expert of the Unified Policy Planning Department of the Ministry of Family, Labour, and Social Protection of Mongolia.

• M. Nyamdavaa, Head of the Labour and Social Protection Policy Department of the Mongolian Confederation of Labour.

• D. Asralt, Director of the Business Academy of the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
