Representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan Visit Mongolia
Since 2018, an expert
working group from the governments of Mongolia and the Republic of Kazakhstan
has been negotiating an agreement on pension cooperation between
the two countries. After six years of successful dialogue and 17 rounds of
negotiations, the draft agreement is now ready for signing during the upcoming
state visit of Kazakhstan’s President, K. Tokayev, to
Mongolia.
On October 28-29,
2024, a delegation from Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Labour and
Social Protection visited Mongolia. The delegation included:

Hasenova B.Z., Deputy Director of the Social Protection and Social
Insurance Department.

Musina A.Sh., Chief Specialist of the Strategic Development Department
at Life Insurance “State Annuity Company” JSC.
The representatives were
received by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Family, Labour and
Social Protection, L. Munkhzul, as well as officials from
the General Department of Social Insurance.
During the meeting, State
Secretary Ms. L.Munkhzul praised the dedication and hard work of the expert
teams from both countries in finalizing the draft agreement. She emphasized the
importance of maintaining close cooperation to ensure the agreement’s ratification by the parliaments of both nations and the successful
preparation of documents necessary for its implementation.
This agreement marks a
significant step in strengthening social protection ties between
Mongolia and Kazakhstan, benefiting citizens of both countries.
