Collaborating with the United Kingdom to Establish a Comprehensive Employment Support Center
The Minister for Family,
Labour and Social Protection, L. Enkh-Amgalan, met with Fiona Blyth, the
Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to
Mongolia, to discuss potential collaboration in establishing a comprehensive
employment support center in Mongolia.
The Ministry has already
developed and implemented the E-job platform to support the labor market
nationwide. As part of ongoing efforts to enhance this platform, plans are in
place to provide more comprehensive and accessible employment services to
support economic growth and workforce participation. The proposal includes
establishing “High Street Job Center” comprehensive labor centers.
To implement this
initiative, the plan involves adapting and applying the UK’s Jobcentre Plus model, securing consultancy services, and collaborating
on initiatives related to occupational safety and health.
