Draft Regulation for Intersectoral Team Supporting Child Victims of Human Trafficking
On September
10, 2024, the Ministry of Justice and Internal Affairs hosted a meeting to
discuss the draft regulation on intersectoral teams providing services to child
victims of human trafficking. The meeting was part of the Child Protection
Partnership Compact Agreement between Mongolia and the U.S. Department of
State.
The discussion
focused on implementing amendments to the Law on Combating Human Trafficking,
following the adoption of the revised Child Protection Law. The meeting also
reviewed the medium-term program and action plan for combating and preventing
human trafficking.
