L. Enkh-Amgalan Appointed as Minister for Family, Labour and Social Protection of Mongolia

During the general session of the First General Assembly of Mongolia, the law regarding the government's structure and composition was discussed and approved. The new law stipulates 22 ministers and 16 ministries, and includes changes renaming the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Mongolia to the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Protection of Mongolia.

In accordance with constitutional terms, the Prime Minister appointed Mr. Enkh-Amgalan Luvsantseren as the Minister for Family, Labour and Social Protection of Mongolia. The newly appointed minister took the oath of office today.

During the inauguration ceremony, the former Minister of Labour and Social Protection and Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Mongolia, Mrs. Bulgantuya Khurelbaatar, handed over the seal to Mr. Enkh-Amgalan Luvsantseren. The event was attended by the Minister of Mongolia and Head of the Cabinet Secretariat, Mr. Uchral Nyam-Osor, who expressed confidence in the newly appointed minister's experience, stating, "Since an experienced person has been appointed as a minister in this field, I am confident that the government's agenda and policy objectives will be successfully implemented."
