Representatives from the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Mongolia Attend International Migration Conference in Bangkok

The International Migration Conference, co-organized by the World Bank, the International Organization for Migration, and the International Labor Organization, commenced today in Bangkok. The three-day event, running until June 12, aims to exchange experiences and insights on protecting the rights of migrant workers and providing social protection. Participants will discuss the labor migration policies of Southeast Asia and Pacific countries and explore solutions to the challenges these regions face.

Among the attendees is Mr. B. Batjargal, Director of the Social Security Policy Implementation Coordination Department at the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Mongolia. Mr. Batjargal, along with other key representatives, will present Mongolia's policies and social security agreements, contributing to the broader dialogue on regional labor migration issues.

The conference serves as a critical platform for international cooperation, bringing together policymakers, experts, and stakeholders to address pressing issues related to labor migration and migrant workers' welfare.
