Public Awareness Campaign on Child Protection Law and Social Insurance Package Law Organized in Darkhan-Uul Province

A meeting and discussion was held in Darkhan-Uul province to publicize and ensure the implementation of the Child Protection Law and the revised Social Insurance Package Law.

At the event, B. Batjargal, Director of the Social Insurance Policy Implementation Coordination Department of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Mongolia, and Sh. Chinbat, Director of the Department of Children and Family Development and Protection, the government's implementing agency, made presentations.

More than 350 people participated in the meeting and discussion, including the administration of the province, civil servants, insured citizens, and members of the council for children.

The revision of the Social Insurance Package Law was discussed and approved at the general session of the Parliament session on 7th of July 2023 and came into effect on 1st of January 2024.
