Minister for Labour and Social Protection H.E.Ms. A. Ariunzaya attends the 66th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women
A delegation led by H.E.Ms. A. Ariunzaya, Minister for Labour and Social Protection of Mongolia participating in the sixty- sixth session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW66) of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), in a hybrid format from 14 to 25 March, in New York. H.E. Ms. A. Ariunzaya, Minister for Labour and Social Protection of Mongolia made a statement at the General discussion of the 66th session of UN Commission on Status of Women on 16th March through online platform, and highlighted “Vision-2050”, Mongolia’s long- term development policy, and introduced policies and measures taken to empower women, support their employment, and ensure gender equality. UNCSW66, this year’s priority theme is “Achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls in the context of climate change, environment and disaster risk reduction policies and programmes”. Mongolia elected as a member of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women in the year from 2022 to 2024.
