The working group is assessing the current situation of the Mongolian economy and holding a series of meetings with relevant government agencies to update the medium-term macroeconomic outlook, budget, monetary and financial policies, and the social issues that affect it.

The meeting was attended by A.Khishigbayar, Director, Policy and Planning Department,  S.Dambii, Director, Employment Policy Implementation and Coordination Department, and B.Batjargal, Director, Social Insurance Policy Implementation and Coordination Department of the Ministry for Labour and Social Protection.

During the meeting, the Minister briefed about the content, scope, and amendment to the new Labor Law and informed them about the ongoing reforms in the welfare and social insurance packages laws.

She also introduced the factors influencing macroeconomic stability, in particular, income and employment stability, the COVID-19 policy, and the main measures taken by the Government of Mongolia.
